The Three Ms - The MWits

When I was a child my mother used to read to me but also made up amazing stories of animals and people. She had a much more imaginative mind than I have. However, when my children were young, I carried on the tradition. Their comments were always ‘we prefer Grannie Moo’s stories’.
Fortunately, I now have grandsons and a step-grandaughter who sadly didn’t know my mother so I had no competition.
Like my mother I enjoy telling stories of animals and people. I think my animal stories are best for the night time reading but I felt the first story I would try and write should be about people to whom boys and girls could relate.
I have tried to make the MWits interesting and fun. Their life style is probably very different from those of present day childrens’ lives. No cell phones or travelling the world but happy people who made life interesting for themselves.
A theme throughout the book is their healthy life style especially their diet. Of course, I could not leave out some animals!
