The Other Rugby: The Story of Rugby League in Rotherham

‘The Other Rugby’ tells the story of thirty five years of amateur rugby league in Rotherham. How the sport arrived in a town which had never had a rugby league club, and how the new club developed and prospered. After appearing to have become firmly established at the end of the 1990s the club folded in 2012. The book explores some of the reasons why rugby league is no longer a part of the sporting scene in Rotherham.
