Ozzie Sails the Seven Seas with Captain Cook

Ozzie is an adventurous little kitten with big ideas. He lives in Whitby and loves to watch all the ships and the exciting activity of the harbour. His mother tells him wonderful tales about his father and how he left on a ship and never returned. Ozzie thinks he should try find him. One windy day Ozzie goes off to his favourite fish stall and gets trapped between some crates that have been blown over. He is rescued by Mrs Braithwaite who takes him home with her. Mr Braithwaite develops an allergy to the cat and is thinking of giving him away when along comes his young friend Ben with great news. He has signed on at Wapping as carpenter’s mate on the Endeavour with Captain Cook, and he takes Ozzie with him. The way is long and treacherous.
