The Day the Shop Noticed Her 2

Magic has a habit of following Seraphiel around — usually at inconvenient moments, and usually with biscuits involved.

Now juggling two jobs, a glowing lantern boy, a theatre that rearranges itself, and a shop that appears only when it feels like it, she’s learning that belonging isn’t about choosing one place… it’s about choosing your people.

Rune’s crystals won’t behave, Jamie won’t stop laughing, Lily keeps discovering new magic, and Luton is trying his best to keep up. Meanwhile, Aurelian’s angel lessons grow stranger, Sal’s lantern grows brighter, and the winter show is about to reveal more than anyone expected.

With new friends, old mysteries, and a little Yorkshire chaos, Seraphiel must face her final lesson — and decide where her heart truly settles. Warm, funny, and full of everyday magic, this cosy novella is a celebration of belonging, bravery, and the wonderfully weird people who make life bright.
