Albert - Forever England

After leaving school, Albert Ball works in an engineering factory, but his ambition is to learn to flyand join the Royal Flying Corps. After training, he is sent to France, where he quickly earns a reputation as a solitary man and an ace fighter pilot.

On a sortie, he is forced to put down on farmland and is nursed by Brigitte, the farmer’s daughter. They are attracted to each other, but their romance has serious consequences.

Albert is an aggressive pilot and puts fear into the Germans, but they, too, have dangerous pilots, and it seems just a matter of time before he encounters Lothar or Manfred Von Richthofen. Speculation about who would win is on everyone’s lips. Albert has absolute faith in God and his tactics, but the sky is fraught with danger in and behind every cloud.
