Goths, Steampunks and Furries oh my!

Grace Jethro lives above a fish and chip shop next to the harbour in Whitby, surrounded by her eccentric family. In pride of place hangs the heirloom barometer, which charts both the weather and her undulating moods.
Counting down the last days of summer before university, she and her artistic friends spend their time wandering the cobbled streets, along with her loyal bull mastiff Bram, visiting familiar haunts.
The friends won’t be reunited until the melancholy arrival of Autumn and the annual Goth Fest at Hallowe’en, so evenings are spent at their favourite pub or staffing the Dracula Ghost Tours.
Unexpectedly, an unlikely acquaintance is formed at the jet store where Grace works part time and, as ‘the tides still surge in her veins’, Grace postpones her departure, embarking instead on a journey which takes her far from the shores of her hometown, one which is full of unexpected and mysterious events, friends and foe.

A modern gothic for lovers of horror, Bram Stoker’s Whitby and all its secrets.
